Dialekt

For our data visualization course, we explored Danish dialects spanning the 60’s to today. Despite their rich diversity, our research revealed that these dialects are fading, particularly among the youth who often find them uncool compared to the Copenhagen variant. To engage the younger generation, we designed a one-page website titled "HVAD ER DET DU SIGER?" ("What is it you are saying?"). The site integrates dialect sound data into an interactive map of Denmark, allowing users to explore and compare dialects across different time periods and regions. The design incorporates diverse fonts to convey the richness of Danish dialects visually.
